FAQ's:

  1. I have Norton's Anti-Virus software installed and I can not see any advertising on the website.
Norton's by default blocks "pop-up" adverts and advertisements. You will need to view the software manual or get your IT support to turn off the function that stops "adverts" only.

  2. I have ordered an animated advert, but I can not see the animation from the email that has been sent?
Please click here to view the Online Flash tutorial of how to view your animated advert.

  3. My campaign has already started but a holding image is in place?
A basic holding image will be in position until the "designed" advert has be signed off.

  4. Does my campaign start from when the designed advert goes live?
No, your campaign start's from the date issued on the contract, not when the designed advert is live.

  5. The person who is dealing with the order is away, is it OK to wait for a few weeks before the advert is designed?
We are happy to wait for your contact, however, the holding advert will be in place until the designed advert is approved.

  6. My designed advert has been approved and is live, but I would like to change some information, can this be done?
This can be done at a fee of £50.

  7. I've sent my order form back, but I haven't heard from the Production department?
    Please contact copychasing on banners@waterlow.com.

  8. I ordered a Super-Banner not a Listings banner?
Please contact the Sales Executive found at the top of your booking form.

  9. I have also ordered a profile, but can not see this on the website?
Please contact Nicola Sands on nsands@waterlow.com or call 020 7324 2357.

  10. I have my own advert, can I use that?
Yes, as long as it meets our specifications.

  11. Can I track the amount of click through?
We do not provide the service, but if you provide the production department with your tracker URL and we will link it to your advert.

Help:

  1. How do you reduce the file size of my advert?
    Reduce the amount of colors.

  2. When designing my own advert, should I use a ".gif" or ".jpg"?
A gif is used when you are using and or animating graphics.
A jpg is used when using photographs.

  3. How much information do I need on my advert?
If you have a website with contact details or a listing within the site, you do not really need to duplicate all your details on the advert. Your advert should be eye catching and informative, tempting the client to click on your advert to find out more about you.

  4. What programs can I use to make my advert.
A few programs to choose from are: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Image Ready, Coral Draw, Microsoft Paint, Paintshop Pro.

  5. Can I use the designed advert on my website or for stationary?
Yes, you can use the image file sent from Production and if need be, the original source files will be sent.
